Laptops with gt 1030 tipped
Nvidia just launched the gt 1030 graphics card with 384 cuda cores and 2gb Gddr5 vram clocked at 1468mhz aimed at e-sports players but this could be a game changer for budget laptop buyers as the will get a pascal gpu on budget laptops. Currently the fastest non gtx graphics card is the gt 940mx which also sports 384cuda cores but at a low 900mhz .if the gt 1030chip makes it to the market and nvidia not underclocking the gpu will give huge boost to the budget laptop segment. The performance gain from jumping from maxwell to pascal is about 50 percent and provided with a additional higher clock speed of 60 percent and jump from the limiting ddr3 to gddr5 is bound to provide the gt1030 about 3 times the speed of the 940mx .which can make most games enjoyable on high settings.
